If you don’t want to use the grant, the University of Pavia has different tuition fees for different students based on their citizenship, where they live, and the field they want to study.

Fees for EU students run from €160 to €4,500 per year, depending on how much money the family makes. There is also a fixed tax of €156.

Students from outside the EU who live abroad have two choices:

• Based on income, tuition costs between €160 and €4,500 per year.
• No matter how much money you make, the flat rate is between €400 and €4,500 per year.

Criteria for Eligibility

International students are the only ones who can get the free tuition awards for the school year 2024–2025. Here are the requirements to be eligible:

• If you are not an Italian citizen, you can apply. This is for students who are not EU or Italian citizens.
• Residents: People who want to apply must not be living in Italy at the time they submit their application.
• Background in school: This option is open to people who have finished secondary school or earned a bachelor’s degree outside of Italy.
• Program Enrollment: Applicants must be in their first year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at the University of Pavia that is open to everyone.
