Hapag-Lloyd Ghana Calls For Job Applications

Hapag-Lloyd Ghana is looking for a Revenue Management Coordinator to help drive goals for revenue maximization.

Responsibilities

  • Regular performance assessments with Regional Revenue Optimization and relevant stakeholders, including Trade Management, are recommended. Rate initiatives should also be considered.
  • Identify opportunities, promote, and monitor Rates Initiatives (RI, GRI, PSS, etc.) related to concrete retention analysis, while also working proactively with the Area Sales Team, Region Rev. Optimization, and TM.
  • Cargo mix: Apply business analytics in context of cargo mix improvement (including developing consistent strategy and collaborating with SST, Region, and TM).
  • APM Calls and other regular calls or meetings: Preparation, moderating, and follow-up on APM Calls (and other topics as needed) about revenue optimization.
  • Local and auxiliary charges are optimized through quarterly benchmarking exercises in collaboration with the Country Managers and the Area Sales Team.
  • D&D: Drive D&D and local income maximization within your area of responsibility, working closely with local sales teams and regional revenue management. This includes assessing and revising special customer agreements for commercial viability and proposing changes to the associated sales counterpart with the goal of reducing exceptions and waivers.
  • Negative Business: Reduction Program for Negative Business (PRIA report, active monitoring, action plan, etc.)
  • Imbalance: Steer sales actions that try to eliminate imbalance management. –
  • Improving ICL through Special Products: Support actions to increase income in the area, such as premium/quality products and shipment guarantees.
  • Unrated shipments: Coordinate with Area Sales Support for Unrated Shipments.
  • Reduction Area Target: Area PoE for NMR monitoring and control.
  • Revenue-related audits: Responsible for ICCL coordination within Area Sales and serves as the entry point for other revenue-related audits (e.g., MFR, NAC, tariff date, etc.).
  • Projects/Work Groups: Serve as the point of contact for revenue management projects and international working groups.

Your Profile

  • University degree in business administration or a similar profession.3-5 years of experience in the transportation industry.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Sales Representative in multinational corporations, preferably in industries relevant to the accounts allocated or of transportation items, shipping, or international trade.
  • Analytical and skilled in MS Office, displaying excellent Excel skills.
  • English Advanced (both written and spoken).
  • Advanced negotiation, decision-making, and presentation abilities.
  • When working with others, you should be confident and courteous.
  • Exhibited excellent listening, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Self-starter, driven, resourceful, and responsive.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, determine priorities, organize work, and carry out action items.
  • Good interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to operate well in a team context.
