Kindly adhere to the guidelines provided to apply for scholarships at Dalhousie University.

Advise to applicants

All applicants are advised to fill out the self-identification questionnaire available on the online scholarship platform. Administrators can use this to ensure that candidates are placed in the review process for award opportunities that have particular eligibility criteria. The information in this questionnaire is secret and not visible to reviewers.

Click “Next” at the bottom of each page to progress through the application. By clicking “Save,” the applicant can close the application and return to it later for editing or updating.

The applicant must receive official transcripts and upload them immediately in the scholarship portal, following the guidelines provided in the application. FGS does not offer transcripts from entrance applications. Consolidate transcripts from several universities into a unified PDF file before submission. Unofficial grade records for current Dalhousie students can substitute official transcripts for the harmonized scholarship procedure.

All recommendation letters must be uploaded to the portal by the deadline of January 16, 2025. The application portal will close for both applicants and referees after this date, and incomplete applications will not be considered for evaluation. Reference letters will not be accepted via email or in print form. Applicants should inform their references of a deadline a few days to one week before January 14 to account for unanticipated crises or technological challenges.

Applicants will be notified via email after their reference has been completed, and a “received” indication will be displayed in red next to each referee’s name on the portal.

Deadline:

The application deadline is November 2024.
