Study In Australia: University of Sydney RTP Scholarships 2024

Students who have submitted an application for admission to a higher degree through research (HDR) and indicated their interest in this scholarship by selecting the appropriate option on the application form will be eligible for consideration.

The Australian government offers the Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships to provide financial support to domestic and international students pursuing postgraduate research degrees.

RTP Scholarship for Domestic Students

Categories of scholarships:

RTP Fees Offset Domestic students who have been offered a spot in the University of Sydney’s research course and are interested in pursuing a higher degree can apply for scholarships. The Australian government is responsible for funding this award, which covers tuition costs.

A higher degree through research at an Australian institution is the goal of the RTP Stipend Scholarship, which is awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional research aptitude. To assist with basic living expenses, the Australian government gives scholarships.

The University of Sydney Postgraduate Awards (UPA) are comparable to the RTP Scholarships in terms of their duration and advantages. Applicants who meet the requirements for RTP are automatically taken into consideration for these rewards.

Due dates for submitting

The submission deadline is the date by which a student must meet to be eligible for consideration in an offer round.

Prospective students may be eligible for an RTP scholarship if they submit their course application before the specified date. Existing HDR students must submit a distinct application before the specified date.

Current students must consult the appropriate submission deadline, whether they are international or domestic, to be considered in the following cycle, whether it is international or domestic. As an illustration, overseas students who are currently enrolled must submit their documents by December 21, 2023, to receive a decision in February 2024.

If you are a potential student who has chosen to be considered for an RTP scholarship, you must submit all required documentation by the specified time as part of your application for admission. To illustrate, if you are an international student seeking an RTP scholarship result in February 2024 and planning to start your research in either research period 3 or 4 of 2024, you must finalize your request by December 21, 2023. Any submission received after December 21, 2023, will be evaluated for the next international round of scholarship applications in November 2024.
