Secretary at West African Examinations Council
The West African Examinations Council invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the under-mentioned vacant positions in the Ghana National Office. SECRETARIES
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicants will be required to perform the following duties among others in the Clinic Department:
- Make records of talks and what happened at seminars and conferences.
- In an office, keep track of files and other papers.
- Handle communication between departments.
- Make copies of papers to send in the mail or pass around the office.
- Do routine office work and chores to help other people.
Qualifications
- Those who want to apply must have at least an Ordinary Level WASSCE/SSSCE/GBCE/GCE with credits in at least five (5) courses, including English Language.
- An award from the Government Secretarial School that is useful.
- Also, candidates must know how to use computers and be good at using Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience
Applicants must have worked in a reputable organization for at least one year after getting their qualifications.

- Good writing and spoken communication skills.
- Good relationship skills.
- Integrity and the ability to act in a decent and responsible way.
- Efficient time-management
- Good personal hygiene and a neat look.
Age: Applicants must not be more than thirty-five (30) years of age at the time of applying.
