JOB TITLE: Marketing & Communications Manager
Our multinational client who deals in automotive products and provides transport solutions to its customers requires an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to join their team in Ghana with oversight in the West African Region. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be primarily responsible for generating leads for the retail network (sales and services), overseeing the development and delivery of marketing & communication strategy to increase awareness of products and services, promoting company’s brand and assisting the organization with internal communications.
Responsibilities includes;
- Firstly, Execute Marketing & Communication plans and concepts with the aim to increase the awareness and consider for the overall business brand as selected products and services.
- Secondly, Ensure effective internal communication processes are in place in both wholesale and retail networks.
- Thirdly, Measure the results and establish KPI’s for marketing and communication activities, campaigns, and events.
- Moreover, Oversee the annual marketing & communication budget.
- Additionally, Ensure graphical design capabilities are in place to serve communication needs in a fast, flexible and cost-effective way.
- Furthermore, Drive digital innovation in communication to effectively reach selected target groups and reduce waste in printed materials.
- More so, Develop active presence and content strategy in customer-driver relevant online channels (Social Media, Search, Web and Mobile).
- Then, Monitor developing trends in the digital area.
- Also, Support the sales and services of the organization with digital tools that improve customer experience.
- Thereafter, Monitor customer and driver needs, demands, perceptions.
- Besides that, Establish a robust system that will enable the Contact centre to follow up on inbound and outbound leads.
- Most importantly, Promote and encourage a result and customer-oriented mind-set.
- Next is, Motivate and support teams and employees to reach targets.
- Afterwards, Lead function meetings and ensure regular customer visits.
- Last but not least, Ensure compliance with company’s standards, policies, local legislation and regulations.
- Finally, Understanding the difference between and work with both market plan activities (business improvements) and process improvements (continuous improvements).
Requirements
- Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or any related field of study.
- Must have at least five (5) years of working experience from a similar or same role.
- Able to use design software (Adobe 11) tools and Microsoft Office Suite to accomplish task.
- Possess a good understanding of business issues, processes and outcomes to enhance business performance.
- Ability to explore positions and alternatives to reach the best possible outcome by seeking mutual benefits and maintaining relationship in business discussions with the counterparts.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills with fluency in speaking French is an added advantage.
- Pays attention to detail and a creative thinker.
- Excellent organizational, time management, presentation, managerial and leadership skills.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media.
- Willingness to travel across all the regions in Ghana and West Africa (Ivory Coast).#
