Oduma Solutions Ltd New Job Announcement
We want a Security Architect who is both skilled and active to lead our Business Development team. As the Head of Business Development, you will be very important to the growth and success of our company. You will do this by using your professional knowledge to come up with and show clients new security solutions. You will be in charge of a group of talented professionals and work closely with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to find new business opportunities and follow them.
Responsibilities
- Lead and handle the Business Development team by giving team members advice, mentoring, and help.
- Develop and use business development strategies to reach sales goals and grow the market for safety solutions.
- Act as an expert advisor and solutions architect by working closely with clients to understand their security needs, challenges, and requirements.
- Design and present complete security solutions and architectures that are in line with the business goals of clients and meet their specific security concerns and compliance needs.
- Work with the sales team to find and qualify new business opportunities. During the sales process, use your technical knowledge to influence clients and give them useful insights.
- Do detailed scientific presentations, demos, and proofs-of-concept to show what our security solutions can do and how valuable they are.
- Keep up with the latest cybersecurity trends, new technologies, and best practices in the business so we can keep improving our solutions and stay ahead of the competition.
- Build strategic agreements and alliances with technology vendors, integrators, and industry leaders to increase the number of solutions we offer and the number of people we can reach in the market.
- Contribute to industry forums, conferences, and publications as a thought leader to raise our company’s brand and exposure in the cybersecurity community.
- Work with teams from different departments, such as marketing, operations, and senior leadership, to come up with strategies for going to market, pricing models, and sales materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar area.
- Advanced degrees and related certifications (like CISSP, CISM, and CCSP) are highly sought after.
- 8 years of experience as a Security Solutions Architect or in a similar job, with a strong focus on business growth and client engagement.
- 5 years of work as a manager.
- In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices, such as network security, cloud security, identity and access management, threat intelligence, and incident response.
- Proven track record of leading successful business development efforts and meeting revenue goals in the cybersecurity solutions market.
- Strong knowledge of corporate IT environments, architecture frameworks, and methods for integrating systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to explain both technical and non-technical stakeholders complicated technical ideas.
- They have shown they can lead and have experience leading and building high-performing teams.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, including the ability to build strategic relationships and work well with stakeholders both inside and outside the company.
- Strong business sense and the ability to make sure that technology solutions match the business goals and value propositions of clients.
