Odotobri Rural Bank PLC in Jacobu, which is in the Amansie Central District of the Ashanti Region, is looking for a Credit Manager. Those who meet the following qualifications are encouraged to apply for the job.

Job Description

• The person will make the bank’s credit strategy.
• The person will make suggestions for a review of the lending policy.
• The person will make presentations and reports about key credit issues, exposures, and the periodic credit review report for the CEO.
• The person will make a monthly credit report, send all loan reports to Credit References Bureaus, and register all securities in the collateral registry.
• The person will do regular reviews of credit facilities to make sure they are working properly.
• Keep an eye on all loans and tell the CEO about any early warning signs. Serve as the committee’s secretary.
• Maintain a monthly minimum loan recovery rate of 98%.
• Get a monthly recovery rate of 5% for loans that are past due.

Needed Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an acceptable professional qualification, such as ACCA, CA, ACIB, CIMA, project management, etc. A master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar job in the rural banking sector

Needed Skills and Traits

• Good communication, people skills, and presentation skills;
• Good planning, math, and analysis skills;
• Strong computer skills;
• Good understanding of IFRS9 credit impairment models.

Line of Report: The person will report to the Chief Executive Officer

Pay: Attractive pay based on qualifications and years of experience
