POSITION: Site Sales Manager
About the Role

The position focuses on managing the FLSmidth after market portfolio in mining, and we are looking for an experienced sales manager with a strong technical background who thrives in a fast-paced international work environment where they can collaborate with skilled and dedicated colleagues all over the world. In this role, you will be able to increase sales and raise the bar as we continue our ambitious growth strategy for our region.
As an individual, you are highly self-motivated, with outstanding commercial acumen and a strong desire to close the next deal. This work entails proactive involvement with our North African customers, assisting in the development of solutions and upgrades, as well as guaranteeing full planning for our customers’ impending shutdowns and maintenance activities.

Your responsibilities:
- To fulfill stated objectives, sales activities are planned and executed, such as active client research, booking, and performing client meetings.
- Creates opportunity for sales of replacement parts, services, and upgrade/rebuild solutions.
- Implements plans in accordance with a decided price strategy, taking into account market conditions, to guarantee that set goals and targets are met.
- Creates and nurtures meaningful consumer contacts in order to foster long-term, profitable relationships.
- Supports our Capital sales teams by helping to grow the opportunity pipeline and being present on-site to increase the prospects of winning new business.
Your qualifications:
- A relevant technical experience in heavy industries, particularly mining.
- A strong commercial drive and understanding are necessary.
- 5 years of experience in heavy industry.
- Being excellent at communicating technical issues to non-technical customers.
- You possess a strong international mentality and cultural knowledge.
- A solid track experience of operating worldwide in after market sales is necessary.
- You speak and write English fluently; additional languages such as French or Arabic would be a significant bonus.
- You call yourself a true traveller because you are supposed to travel extensively inside the designated territory.
