Role Title: SALES AGRONOMIST
Job Description
Are you passionate about agriculture and sales? Do you know a lot about agronomy and want to do well in a fast-paced sales environment? If you do, we have a great chance for you!
We need a Sales Agronomist with a lot of experience. As a Sales Agronomist, it will be your job to get our fertilizer products sold and promoted to distributors in the southern part of Ghana. Your job will involve working with distributors, demonstrating products on-site, and giving clients agronomic advice to help them get the best crop yields.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create and use sales strategies to reach sales goals and grow your market share.
- Find possible distributors and make sure you have good relationships with the ones you already have.
- Do agronomic evaluations and come up with custom fertilizer solutions for clients.
- Distributors and farmers should be given technical presentations and training sessions.
- Keep an eye on market trends, what competitors are doing, and what customers are saying to give the management team useful information.
- Work with the marketing team to plan and carry out marketing events and campaigns.
- Make sure that sales activities and performance metrics are reported on time and correctly.
Skills or Experience Needed
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agronomy, or a similar field.
- At least four years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of sales in the agricultural or fertilizer industry.
- It is helpful to know about the agricultural market in the southern part of Ghana.
- Strong knowledge of farming techniques and how to feed crops.
- Good at talking to people and negotiating.
- Ability to work both on your own and with a group.

- Has relationships with farmers, farmer-based organizations, and other agricultural stakeholders or can quickly build them.
