What you’re going to do:
- Make sure that swimmers are safe.
- Help swimmers who are about to drown and give them first aid.
- Check the cleanliness of the facilities and do general cleaning and maintenance tasks at set times during the shift.
- Make sure swimmers use safe techniques and follow the rules and regulations of the pool.
- When needed, you should follow the emergency action plan and procedures.
- Professionally follow all of the rules.
- Check the temperature and chemicals in the pool.
Qualifications
Among your skills and experiences are:
- Must know how to give first aid, CPR, and have a valid lifeguard certification.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Cleanliness is very important.
- Ability to work professionally and helpfully all the time.
- Previous experience in a similar environment.
