ROLE: Underground Field Service Supervisor – Ghana
Mission

Role
- People Management: Lead, encourage, develop, and support the underground service contract and field service team to provide excellent service.
- Compliance: Make sure that all job activities are done in a safe way that meets all legal and safety requirements.
- Recording and Reporting: Make sure that the repair history of all jobs, services, and equipment is written down and that the right records and reports are sent to management.
- Project Delivery: Contribute to the successful delivery of workshop projects and overhauls by taking responsibility as told.
- Take charge of and oversee overhauls, audits, and repairs of all Epiroc underground tools and parts, both in the workshop and at customer sites.
- To oversee Field Service work, such as planned maintenance, machine evaluation (RigScan), and repairs when equipment breaks down.
- Make sure that the underground fleet (tools and equipment) is well taken care of by supervising and recording regular inspections
- You are in charge of keeping the company’s cars, workshop tools, and other equipment you are in charge of safe and in good shape.
- Prepare monthly closings and reports with the help of the service operation manager and service administrator.
- Work with the technical support manager and service administrator to keep track of the promises, service news, and safety campaign for all underground machines in your area.
- Work closely with the Product Support Manager and Service Operation Manager to come up with ideas for maintenance contracts and the sale of service goods.
- Help with technical questions from users and training for operators, if needed.
- Helping the managers on-site if they need it
- Taking part in the start-up of the new machines
Skill, knowledge, and experience
- Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree from a university or its equivalent
- Has worked in the field and in a workshop, especially in the mining industry.
- Has experience with Epiroc equipment specially or substitutes.
- Proven ability to lead and direct a group of service team members and techs.
- At least five years of technical knowledge and being in charge of a site
- Having worked in deep mines

- Self-motivated, with a good sense of safety and a willingness to follow company and customer safety rules
