ROLE: Technical Services Manager
Position Description
The primary goal of this post is to provide strategic leadership for the brewery’s engineering and utilities responsibilities, including operational management of Environmental plant and equipment.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Maintain environmental, health, and safety requirements, as well as safety and cleaning standards.
- Develop staff in accordance with identified needs through OPR sessions.
- Maintain a good working atmosphere.
- Oversee the technological pipeline for critical duties.
- Oversee the artisan development and apprenticeship programs at the site.
- Maintain system integrity and change management, as well as the upkeep and calibration of site instruments.
- Ascertain that application standards are documented.
- Create and update engineering standards using ZBS Maintenance and Energy & Fluids.
- Increase the system’s capacity for planned maintenance.
- Deploy the failure analysis technique officially
- Utilize the right engineering spares strategy.
- Activate VPO and associated GOPs.
- Control progression in accordance with the established and agreed-upon glide pathways.
- Implement the E&F toolbox and sustain the benefits it generates.
- Completed a job on time and within budget
- Ascertain MOC compliance.
- ZBB maintenance and CAPEX budgeting should be handled.
- Reduce departmental costs
- Examine financial data
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-year relevant tertiary qualification, such as B Tech: Mech or Electrical BSc Mech or Electrical
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the FMCG industry.
