Job Title: Marketing Officer
Together with Lancaster University in the UK, Transnational Academic Group offers British undergraduate, graduate, and foundation programs at its campus in Ghana. As we move on to the next exciting part of our goal to train the leaders of tomorrow in Africa, we are on the hunt for a professional who is experienced, energetic, and dynamic.
Duties and Obligations
- Set up PR efforts and strategies and keep track of how well they are working and what effect they are having.
- Help design and/or make marketing materials and handle the stock of these materials.
Use strategies to keep improving the company’s picture and reputation. - Keep an eye on and handle online campaigns, and put together detailed reports after the campaign is over.
- Keep track of activities and report on them. Give the department/line manager important sales and marketing information.
- Provide reports on the success of marketing campaigns, lead analysis, lead goal achievement, competitor analysis, market intelligence, and any other reports that the line manager asks for.
- Investigate, research, and write reports on important marketing problems and do market research, competitor analysis, statistical and trend analyses as told.
- Keep a close eye on the presence of your competitors and the trends in your field on message boards, business newsletters, and social media;
Skills or Experience Needed
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public relations, mass communication, or a related area.
- Must have worked in sales or marketing for at least four years.
- It is very important to have agency experience.
- Must be able to write copy at a beginning to intermediate level.
