Position: OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job Description

Head of civil, Head of survey, Head of woodworks, Business Development Executive, and administrative staff report directly to the Managing Director.

Location: Tema

Summary of Position

Hanex Weks Limited, a growing construction business that offers consulting services and the execution of Construction Projects, Survey, GIS, and Mapping, is looking for a dedicated person to join its family as Operations Manager.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the general success of the company, making sure that revenue goals are met or exceeded, and making sure that customers are happy in all parts of how the business works. The Operations Manager will be in charge of all parts of the business, making sure that brand standards and customer goals are met and that all customers get excellent service.

The office is in Community 25, Tema, so the best person for the job should live in Tema or a nearby area.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, handle, and keep an eye on how all of the company’s departments or functional teams (Sales and Marketing, Engineering/Projects, and Administration) work.
  • Make funds for operations.
  • Recommend and carry out plans that will help the company make money.
  • Monthly financial success should be looked at and reported on.
  • Set goals, policies, and procedures for the area and make sure they are followed.
  • Manage the sales and marketing staff directly by planning, putting in place, and keeping an eye on all branding and advertising activities.
  • Handle key client interactions.
  • Set up and manage a way for departments, coworkers, and the project team to work together.
  • Make sure all employees are being supervised and that both individual and business goals are being met.
  • Save everything the company has.

Required Skills or Experience

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, civil or structural engineering, or another related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar job or as a boss, with each year getting better.
  • Knowledge of building in depth.
  • Ability to finish jobs within a certain amount of time or by a certain date.
  • Have good traits of a leader.
  • Ability to do more than one thing at once and think of a plan for each case.
  • Excellent skills at making relationships, getting along with other people, and negotiating.
  • Good and useful ways to talk to people.
  • Must live in Tema or the area around it.
