ROLE: Business Development Manager for International Student Recruitment

Position:
The Business Development Manager for International Student Recruitment will be in charge of all student recruitment, business development, account management, and marketing events for B2B channels in the country or area you will manage. You will work with the Company Directors to create B2B channels and put marketing and sales plans in place to help GUS attract foreign students. You will be speaking for one of our colleges or universities in Europe, North America, or Asia.
Requirements:
Essential Criteria
- You will know how to find and recruit foreign students for higher education.
- You have a strong relationship with the most important people in these agencies and a well-established network of related agencies.
- For strategy planning and forecasting, the group needs to know a lot about how the industry is changing.
- You will have created and taught education agents how to promote the company you represent. You will have experience finding agents through fairs, business trips, inquiries, referrals, and other general searches in line with your business development responsibilities.
- You’ll know how to bring in more money from current streams and accounts and how to find new opportunities.
- You will have a track record of helping to find and develop potential business partners and growing relationships with current clients.
- You will have done client research before, which may or may not have included meeting and talking with business leaders.
- You will be a very driven person who wants to do well in everything.
- You are sure of yourself when you run workshops, give talks, speak at conferences, or appear on camera.
Desirable Criteria
- Salesforce or database management skills.
- We will look at applicants who have worked directly for an institution (anywhere in the world) or who have a lot of agency experience and have handled a subnetwork of agents.
The job can be done from home, and trip costs are paid for. You should be in Accra, Ghana, and be able to move around easily. This is because most of your selling will happen in this area (where your agents live).
