ROLE: Business Analyst

Job Description

• Coordinate and be in charge of tracking, monitoring, reporting, and forecasting business performance to make sure goals are met or surpassed.
• Help the commercial business make sure that all customer requests are met on time by creating and managing tracking dashboards to help the business reach its goals.
• Make sure that the Business revenue bucket is as full as possible by analyzing all KPI trends so that smart decisions can be made all the time.
• Develop and manage a database for tracking performance to help with business value management and give management information to help them come up with better strategies to make sure goals are always met or surpassed.
• Develop and keep up-to-date, accurate forecasting models to help make better use of resources and, as a result, improve financial performance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Keeping tabs on performance

• Work with the operating divisions to learn about how the business is changing and to understand and track the KPIs that have been agreed upon.
• Write well-thought-out comments and explanations about key business performance differences from goals.
• Give Management a detailed, forward-looking report that talks about business opportunities and risks, as well as how they might affect the business’s revenue, costs, and profit.
• Send out monthly, weekly, and daily business reports that give information about how the business is doing.
• Work with cross-functional teams (sales, estimation, customer service, finance, production, dispatch, transportation, supply chain, and HR) to share information that helps them make forecast recommendations for business planning and financial updates.
• Make sure reports are kept secret so that they only get to the people who need to see them.
• Keep track of how each team member did and pay their commissions or bonuses according to the SLA.

Data analytics: 

• Make sure the system for tracking performance is working well and is correct, and find out about the performance and trends of both new and old products/channels for different revenue buckets.
• Analyze large, complex data sets and turn them into insights that drive business decisions at all levels of the organization.
• Write reports and make presentations for management that help them solve problems and plan.

Market intelligence

• Look for new ways to make money and improve the ones you already have by doing a thorough analysis of the market, your competitors, your customers, and your own company.
• Use data from both internal and external sources to find trends and confirm certain risks and opportunities.
• Helping with different projects and initiatives of the organization by using analytical skills and knowledge.

Forecasting and keeping track of stock

• Help with forecasting by making reports that look at current run-rates and trends, as well as opportunities, risks, and how business drivers affect things.
• Make reporting models that will help you keep inventory at the level you want while keeping or even improving customer service.
• Try to get more money back from your assets and investments.

Requirements

• A good Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, administration, marketing, or statistics.
• Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)
• Two to three years of experience in any reputable company doing analysis, performance management, and reporting.
