Job Title: Cost- Controller

Lycopodium is looking for a Cost Controller in Yamfo, Ahafo North, to join our growing Project Services team.
The Cost Controller will report to the Project Cost Manager and be responsible for helping the Lead Project Controller manage Project costs and accounting functions in a way that is accurate, effective, and on time so that deliverables can be made that meet Client and Project standards.
The tasks you’ll perform
- Help track the project’s performance, including costs, work against the schedule, and internal reviews, in order to give a clear picture of how important parts of the project are doing.
- Help make sure that all budgets, forecasts, and cost promises are made in a way that meets the needs of the company, the client, and the government.
- Help evaluate the project’s progress to make sure it’s on schedule and within price. Recognize problems with progress and tell the project managers right away to make sure projects are finished on time and within budget.
- Help put together project cost reports according to business and client standards with a high level of professionalism and accuracy.
- Help make, put into place, and keep track of Project Control Procedures and Processes, especially for cost control.
The skills you can offer
- Coordinate the contributions of different team members, such as those from engineering, procurement, contracts, the project, and building, in order to set up detailed controls for cost, man-hours, and schedule.
- Help out other team members as needed to make sure the project goals are met.
- Talk to and help the Project Services team with their work as they prepare Project outputs.
- Register and file all important project paperwork according to how the Company wants it done.
- Help out in the areas where you are an expert.
