POSITION: Senior IT Auditor

Job purpose
As an IT Auditor, you will work on audits in different industries where EY is known as a market leader, such as financial services, energy and utilities, oil and gas, mining and metals, telecommunications, industrial products, automotive, retail and consumer products, real estate, etc.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities to your client
- Working as a team, you will talk to the client to get all the data and information you need, as well as to learn about their IT environments, IT risks and controls, and cyber security profiles. You will compare their controls to their policies and/or best practices, evaluate how well their control environments work, and suggest ways to make them better.
- You will work with the data analytics team to extract, load, and change client data in order to check the data’s quality for auditing purposes.
- You will use automated tools to perform data analytics on primary and secondary data sets from clients, give clients insight, and meet general audit requirements.

Qualifications
- A degree from a college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field. (Higher than Second Class)
- Relevant professional certification in IT auditing or information security (CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, etc.)
- Having a CA or an ACCA certificate can be a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in information systems auditing or IT, preferably in banking or telecoms.
Skills
- Ability to understand and use security frameworks and audit standards like COBIT, SOX, ISO27001/2, and ISO22301
- Know how to keep computers safe and how they work.
- You need to know how to analyze data.
- Hands-on experience with a major operating system and a system for managing databases
- Self-motivated and optimistic
- Focus on the details and a commitment to accuracy and high-quality
- Want to do better than expected
- Ability to solve problems and see goals through to the end
- Very good ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
- Very good writing and speaking skills, as well as the ability to write. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Able to plan and design the steps of an IT audit
- Audits are carried out, and working papers are written up.
- Experience with the management tools Alteryx or ACL and SQL
- Skills for making reports and giving talks
