BAYPORT OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS TO 20 STUDENTS

Bayport Savings and Loans has provided scholarships to 20 intelligent but needy students. Bayport Savings and Loans Ltd. is Ghana’s leading payroll lender. The scholarships were awarded to brilliant but needy students from the basic school through to the tertiary cycle in Ghana.
Out of over 84 applicants, eleven (11) male students and nine (9) female students were shortlisted across Bayport’s customers across the country.
According to Mr. Akwasi Aboagy, the CEO of the Company, the success of any business depends on the support of the community. He continued by saying, Bayport believes education is a key tool for social development. And for this reason, The company is devoted to helping and contributing to the success of students.
Out of the 84 applicants, Mr. Akwasi Aboagye Congratulated the 20 shortlisted applicants. He also urged them to focus on their education as the company provides them with the needed financial support.
Talking about the scholarship award presented, Mr. Allen Jubin said that the scholarship will take care of tuition fees, accommodation, and also stationary for the students.
The Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Allen Jubin, continued by saying that he believes the initiative is a major factor in the students’ stories in terms of education.
Below is the list of recipients for the Bayport Scholarship Scheme for 2022/2023:
- Firstly, Adolf Abayema Aganwime from Tower of Grace Academy
- Secondly, Afoah Tracy Anyemeeng from the University of Ghana
- Thirdly, Asante Derrick from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology
- Then, Badebagna Helena Mwintero, from the University of Natural and Energy Resources
- Also, Christopher Denu from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology
- Another name on the list is Daniel Kwame Walker from the University of Cape Coast
- Dugbley Benjamin Selorm, also from the University of Cape Coast
- Also, Jennifer Mensimah Assibu from the University of Cape Coast
- After Jennifer is Kobina Akofi-Hollson from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology
- As well as Konama Gloria from the Berekum College of Education
- Mavis Oppong, from the University of Ghana
- Maxwell Ntiamoah also from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology
- Nicklyn Kwadwo Atura from the University of Ghana
- Nkogubo Hosniatu Nwadei from the Ancilla School
- Osafo Elizabeth Appiah, from the University of Ghana
- Prince Eduboah, from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology
- Racheal Akuta Awinpoka, from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology
- Rodger Macscott-Lutterodt from the University of Allied Students (UHAS)
- Sylvia Poupleka Tang from the KNUST-Obuasi Campus
- Tuah Kwabena Hayford from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
