University of Washington Need-Based Scholarship 2022.

The University of Washington is a public research university located in Seattle, Washington. The university gives a variety of scholarships to students. Some are based on merit; while others require applicants to demonstrate evidence of financial needs.

Most of them are a combination of both needs and merits. These scholarships are to help the students in the school complete their term without the need to with halfway. For this years’ scholarships, students will have to complete the FAFSA application form.

The scholarship programs are highly competitive as there are more talented students than the funds.

University of Washington Need-Based Scholarship Awarded

Amongst these include;

1 . First on the list is, the Freshman scholarships

This scholarship is worth US$10,000.  Students with good grades, exceptional skills, and leadership qualities. The scholarship is renewable.

For example, Purple & Gold

This scholarship comes with conditions and they include;

• First and foremost, the scholarship does not make one a nationalist of the country.
• Also, recipients must be willing to enroll in the school completely (full-time)
• For this reason, the scholarship is also renewable as long as the candidate keeps a good academic record.

4. Apart from the above, we have Transfer scholarships

At this instant, the Martin Family Foundation Scholarship programs

They consist of the Martin Achievement Scholarship and the Martin Family Foundation Honors Scholarship.

Alongside, Washington Space Grant Consortium

This scholarship is awarded by The Washington NASA Space Grant Community College. Therefore, they are given to transfer students from promising community colleges. For instance, those who intend to continue their studies in engineering, math, science, or technology.

5. Besides the above scholarships, there is the Honorary Scholarships

Hence, this scholarship is used to attract students and certainly help them push for the best through good academic performance.

HOW TO APPLY

For this reason, to be eligible for consideration, students must be admitted to the UW for the autumn quarter of the academic year.

Also, they are to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA).
