Summary of the Job
To help the portfolio manager set up the lending framework, decide on the lending criteria, and keep an eye on the quality of the portfolio while supporting the business’s customer acquisition and/or growth goals.
Responsibilities
Risk management and control make up 40%
- Having the duty to provide Management needs analytical solutions, monitoring packs, and MI to effectively and legally handle portfolios.
- Assess the profit, growth, and threats of a portfolio on a regular basis
- Make sure that Group reporting deadlines are met.
- Make sure that all modeling problems are found ahead of time and fixed by regularly talking to the right people. For example, if model inputs seem to be missing or wrong, this needs to be fixed and shared with stakeholders.
- Make sure that loan bookings fit into the agreed-upon lending framework, lending rules, and qualification requirements. Make monthly reports to keep track of this.
- Find new ways to improve services and make them easier to use by using advanced analytics, automation, and optimization.
- Use tools and methods from statistics, like forecasts, segmentation, predictive analytics, etc.
- Evaluate projects from a business point of view and show how analytics add value across different projects and groups.
- Make sure that governance, risk, processes, and compliance policies are followed and followed in the letter.
- Produce ad hoc analysis reports on specific credit-related issues. This would include in-depth research into possible problem areas in the credit risk portfolio and making suggestions to the line manager on how to fix them.
Business Management 40%
- Group-related MI forms, such as GRCR and PQR, must be made and turned in on time.
Tell both expert and non-technical people about the results of your analysis. - The Credit Risk team needs to come up with strategies for credit risk that are based on facts.
- Make a full report on the design of the strategy for both Retail Credit Risk and CRMC.
- Include possible alternative strategies and how they would affect the business (e.g., “champion” or “challenger”).
- For portfolio analysis, get data from different sources within the ABGH area (such as Overall Performance and Point in Time Status on Customers Account/Credit History from ebox, brains, BIW, etc.) and from outside organizations (such as the Credit Bureau).
- Keep an eye on and handle your portfolio’s triggers, mandates, and scaling within the agreed-upon limits.
- A look at how things are run Information with the right suggestions for the Head of Credit
- Help with the review and improvement of Portfolio modeling.
COU and Collection & Recoveries can be used to keep track of and keep an eye on payments
Staff Management 20%
- Own personal growth process by making sure that SMART goals have been agreed upon with the team leader. Make sure that performance review feedback has been given to you and agree with the team leader on corrective actions for non-performance areas.
- Talk to the team leader about your job plans and make sure you get the right training.
- Take part in team discussions, such as sessions for sharing information and building the team.
