Abertay University is offering partially financed scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year. These scholarships are available to international students who wish to pursue undergraduate, master’s, or PhD degrees in the United Kingdom.

The application process has three intake periods: February, June, and October. The deadlines for each intake are as follows: December 15, April 30, and August 31, 2024, respectively.

Abertay University Scholarships for the academic year 2024-2025 in the United Kingdom are open to students pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees at Abertay University.

Regarding the Bachelor of Science program:

  • This is a scholarship worth a maximum of £12,000 available to potential international undergraduate students.
  • The scholarship provides a yearly stipend of £3,000, which can be received for a maximum duration of 4 years over the whole course of study.

For individuals pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral degree:

  • This £3,000 scholarship is available to all potential new international students who are pursuing a taught postgraduate program.
  • Please be aware that if you are selected as a recipient, the award amount will be subtracted from your tuition expenses.

Nationalities eligible for the Abertay University Scholarship:

  • This award is available to students from any country, regardless of their nationality.

Requirements for Abertay University Scholarship:

Regarding Bachelor of Science (BS):

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Enroll as a freshman international student with Abertay University’s foreign fee classification.
  • Enroll as a full-time student in your undergraduate degree commencing in September.
  • You have fulfilled all the academic prerequisites specified in your admission offer.
  • Engage in your academic pursuits at the physical location of Abertay University in Dundee.

Students who are at an advanced level upon entry:

  • Students who are admitted directly into Level 2 or a higher level and who match the standards mentioned above are also eligible.

Duration of Scholarship:

  • This scholarship is renewable for each year of your undergraduate studies, with a maximum duration of four years, provided that you maintain full-time enrollment on campus in Dundee. Kindly be aware that the prize will not be granted for any semesters spent abroad or on industry placements.

For individuals pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral degree:

This grant is available to all potential new international students pursuing a taught postgraduate program who:

  • Abertay University designates individuals an International (Overseas) fee status.
  • To be eligible for postgraduate studies, you must have a Bachelor’s degree equivalent to a UK 2:1 or higher, which is about 60% and above.
