Wamfie Rural Bank PLC needs an Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the company with inspiration.
- Make key policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
- Create, implement, and evaluate operational procedures.
- Help HR recruit as needed.
- Promote an encouraging company culture that boosts performance and morale.
- Manage budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
- Consult senior stakeholders.
- Legal and regulatory documentation must be filed and compliance monitored.
- Determine values and mission with the board of directors and set short- and long-term goals.
- Determine corporate issues and opportunities.
- Form partnerships with other organisations.
- Help workers communicate with management.
Qualifications and Experience
- First Degree in Accounting/Economics/Marketing or equivalent field with 8 years of banking experience
- Master’s degrees in accounting/economics/marketing or related fields are preferred.
- Rural and community banking experience is valued.
- Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Added Benefit)
- Skill with Temenos T24 banking software (Added Benefit)
- Operations and Finance experience (Plus)
- The Wamfie Head Office
About Wamfie Rural Bank
Wamfie Rural Bank’s history dates back to the early 1980s, when the then-in-power government sought financial intermediation for rural inhabitants. On June 9, 1980, a team of Bank of Ghana officials led by Mr. E. Asiedu Mante (then Deputy Manager, Rural Bank Department of BOG), who is now Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, toured the District to select a suitable place for the formation of a rural bank. After doing all feasibility studies, the committee unanimously decided that the Bank should be located in Wamfie. Among the conditions for opening a bank were:

- Residence of the Manager
