POSITION: Senior Data Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis of massive datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations that might help with business strategy and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and create dashboards, reports, and visualizations for tracking and communicating business performance.
- Develop and apply complex statistical models and machine learning algorithms to address business challenges and improve predictive analytics capabilities.
- Perform extensive data validation, cleansing, and transformation to assure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
- Create and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for automating data extraction, transformation, and loading operations.
- Keep up with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices for data analysis, machine learning, and data visualization.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, establishing a culture of continual learning and professional development among the team members.
- Effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the company using presentations, reports, and interactive visualizations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve database structures, data storage, and data access to ensure effective data management and analysis.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation using data-driven analysis and experimentation.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven expertise (5+ years) in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar field, preferably in the healthcare or retail industries.
- Advanced SQL skill for querying and processing huge datasets, as well as knowledge with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Data management, statistical analysis, and machine learning all require strong Python or R programming skills.
- Practical knowledge with data visualization technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, and Matplotlib for developing interactive dashboards and reports.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, including the ability to convert corporate requirements into analytical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with cross-functional teams and deliver complicated findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle many projects concurrently in a fast-paced setting.
- A love for data-driven decision-making, as well as a dedication to promoting organizational continuous improvement and innovation.
