UK GREAT Scholarships: University of Stirling Scholarship 2024

We are happy to provide a dedicated scholarship of £10,000 to a Chinese student who is applying to study one of our postgraduate teaching degrees in collaboration with the British Council.

This scholarship program is a component of the GREAT Scholarships initiative, which the British Council and UK universities started to help more Chinese students have access to top-notch higher education options in the UK.

Concerning this chance

The scholarship program has a total estimated value of around £1 million. For Chinese students hoping to get financial assistance to continue their studies at the graduate level in the UK, this scholarship program will present an interesting opportunity. Students can apply to universities in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland for courses in a variety of fields, including engineering, law, business, art and design, biosciences, and information technology.

Thirty-one postgraduate students and 164 undergraduate students started classes at the new Pathfoot Building on September 18, 1967. With more than 100,000 alumni spread over 180 countries, we now have over 18,500 students worldwide, representing more than 140 different nationalities.

Qualifications and accessibility

• You need to have been offered a spot in a full-time Master’s program at the University of Stirling, either unconditionally or with conditions.
• Your degree should be on par with an upper second-class undergraduate degree from the United Kingdom (2:1).
• To pay tuition, you have to be classified as an international student.
• You have to be a citizen of China.
• For the duration of the study program, you have to reside on the Stirling campus.
• This scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with any other award or scholarship from the University of Stirling.
