In 2024, prospective leaders who are driven to improve their local communities are invited to take advantage of an exceptional chance by joining the Obama Foundation Leaders Program. This fully-funded, six-month program aims to unify, motivate, and prepare upcoming leaders worldwide. Concerning the Obama Foundation Leaders Program:

The Obama Foundation’s Leaders program aims to bring together, equip, and inspire local groups of people who want to make a difference so that long-lasting, positive change can happen faster in their communities and across the area.

These young global leaders, who are usually between 24 and 45 years old, build societies and communities built on shared values where everyone is welcome, encouraged to contribute, and able to do well.

The first Leaders program took place in Africa in 2018. The second one took place in Asia-Pacific in 2019, and the third one began in Europe in 2020. In the US, we showed off our newest project at the Obama Foundation Democracy Forum in New York City.

The Obama Foundation’s leaders come from a lot of different countries and areas. They work in government, business, and nonprofits, and they are concerned with a lot of different social issues.

As part of the Leaders program, people can get help in small groups, learn how to be better leaders, talk about important issues, and get useful skills for making the world a better place. As participants, leaders set ideals that will guide them for a long time, make connections with others to bring about change that benefits everyone, and get ready to deal with systemic issues.

After finishing the training, leaders will have a better idea of how values-based leadership helps them make a difference. They will be more likely to act if they have new ideas and skills. The most important thing is that leaders will join the Obama Leadership Network, which is an alumni group of more than 1,000 active changemakers around the world that is growing. This will help them keep broadening their continental and global view.

There are postgraduate programs at US universities accessible to participants in the Obama Foundation Leaders Program for International Students 2024.
