On the approval and certification of the appropriate dean and registrar, respectively, the President will approve the Northwestern University Scholarship Award, which is granted to a student who meets the requirements for the first time as an academic scholar.

Concerning Northwestern University

Northwestern University is a private, coeducational university in Evanston, Illinois, in the United States. Northwestern University is a comprehensive research university and a member of the Association of American Colleges and Universities. Northwestern’s undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs are among the top in the nation. In total, there are roughly 21,000 enrolled students.

Under the direction of physician John Evans, a group of businesspeople and professionals created the institution in 1851. The Northwest Territory, which at the time included the states of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and a portion of Minnesota, was the intended target for its creation. Women were initially allowed in 1869, and instruction started in 1855. Educator and reformer Frances Willard became the university’s first dean of women when it amalgamated with the Evanston College for Ladies in 1873.

Categories for Scholarships

Northwestern University Alumni Scholarship Grant

This tertiary scholarship program is the Northwestern Alumni Foundation’s first endeavor. This program’s recipients are not charged for tuition.

To be qualified for the Alumni Scholarship Examination, the candidate must show a principal’s certification attesting to their membership in the top 15% of their high school graduating class. It is also necessary to send a photocopy of the rating card or Form 138.

For this reason, a scholarship committee has been established to ascertain the additional requirements needed to be eligible for the award. Examinees who pass are notified by the Alumni Director through mail, and they will then go through additional screening via interview.

The student will continue to benefit from the alumni scholarship. As long as he doesn’t receive any incomplete, dropped, or failing grades.
