University of Warwick Scholarships

1. Chancellor’s International Scholarships

In 2024-2025, the University of Warwick will offer up to 42 Chancellor’s International Scholarships to exceptional PhD applicants who are classified as Overseas Fees.

University of Warwick’s eligibility Scholarships is available for PhD candidates and first-year PhD students from all academic divisions of the university who have foreign fee status.

The scholarship includes complete coverage of academic expenses, a salary for 4 years, and a Research Training and Support Grant (RTSG).

2. Scholarships offered by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) in collaboration with the University of Warwick.

Announced with great pleasure are the University of Warwick Scholarship and the China Scholarships Council (CSC). PhD candidates in any discipline who meet the CSC requirements will be eligible for 40 scholarships in the fall of 2024.

Eligibility: PhD applicants and first-year PhD students who fulfill the CSC criteria

The scholarship includes stipends and round-trip international flights between the UK and China for approved applicants.

The application deadline is June 20. Successful applicants will receive full payment of overseas tuition fees for the CSC funding period, a stipend enhancement, a maintenance stipend, and return international airfare between the UK and China.

3. Monash Warwick Alliance Joint Ph.D. Scholarships at Warwick

The Monash Warwick Alliance Scholarships at Warwick are available to all students who are applying for the Alliance Joint Ph.D. program at Warwick. Up to three grants will be available for the most exceptional Ph.D. applicants who fulfill all scholarship criteria.

Eligibility criteria:  Candidates for the Alliance Joint Ph.D. with any fee status

The fellowship covers full academic costs, provides a maintenance stipend at UKRI level in the UK and Australian government level in Australia for 3.5 years, and includes a travel allowance of £2,000.

4. AHRC M4C Open Doctoral Award

The Midlands4Cities Doctoral Training Partnership (M4C), supported by AHRC, unites eight top universities in the Midlands to help research students become specialists in their subjects and apply their expertise in their future careers.

Eligibility criteria: Postgraduate Research (PGR) applicants in the Faculty of Arts with any fee status

The scholarship covers full academic fees, a UKRI-level stipend for 3.5 years, and a Research Training Support Grant for consumables and travel expenses.

How to Apply to the University of Warwick

Undergraduate courses can be applied for through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).

Application Deadline: June 20 is the closing date for all applications.

We recommend that you submit your application before the UCAS deadline on 20th June. Nevertheless, certain courses may accept submissions over this deadline.
