What Are the Reasons for Participation?

Over a duration of two complete months, spanning 9 weeks (June-August 2025), CERN openlab summer students will engage in a sophisticated IT project and will receive a series of specialized IT lectures curated by specialists from CERN and other institutions. Students may also attend the principal lectures of the CERN Summer student program, should they desire.

Visits to the accelerators and experimental facilities are included in the curriculum. A brief report and a presentation on your work and project at CERN will be required at the conclusion of your tenure.
