Study In Switzerland: CERN Civil Engineering Studentship 2024
Are you a motivated civil engineering student seeking to leave a significant impact on the world? CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, is currently accepting applications for a Technical Studentship in General/Civil Engineering for the year 2024. This opportunity is not merely an internship, but rather a unique chance to make a meaningful contribution to cutting-edge scientific research while acquiring vital hands-on experience.
Envision collaborating with internationally acclaimed physicists and engineers who are leading the way in groundbreaking scientific exploration. CERN provides an exceptional opportunity for students to apply their knowledge to practical difficulties and enhance their professional development.
Regarding the studentship program
If your institution or institute mandates or promotes the acquisition of practical experience through an internship, envision the possibility of undertaking such an opportunity at CERN in Geneva. It transcends mere professional experience. This student program is unparalleled and will make a remarkable addition to your curriculum vitae.
If you are a student seeking practical training in fields such as general or civil engineering, surveying, or safety, you will have the chance to work with the latest technology and expand your knowledge in various areas including industrial and commercial building structures, design and drafting, underground structures, roads, drainage, geotechnical engineering, and safety risk management, among others.
It is important to mention that students who are focusing on theoretical or experimental particle physics are not eligible to apply for this program.
A triannual panel of CERN experts convenes in February, June, and October to evaluate all applications. During each session, around 80 students are chosen to participate in the programme.
