Collect your application documents:

Undergraduate transcripts: If you do not possess an official transcript at the time of application, you have the option to provide an unofficial copy. Undergraduate diploma: If you are applying before the completion of your undergraduate degree, you must submit a signed letter affirming your commitment to graduate before commencing your master’s program at the Barcelona GSE.

  • A duplicate of your passport.
  • Resume (limited to 2 pages).
  • Purpose Statement (maximum 700 words).
  • Verification of English language aptitude: Unless you possess native fluency in English or have completed your bachelor’s degree at an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, you are required to submit scores or certificates from TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge exams. If you do not currently possess any of these language certificates, we recommend that you postpone your application until you can meet this condition by providing the necessary documentation.
  • Not required, but strongly advised: Scores for the GRE General Test: All applicants are strongly urged to submit their scores from the GRE General Test, as these scores often play a crucial role in the admission process. An excellent GRE score is especially advantageous for individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree in social sciences or another undergraduate field that lacks a significant emphasis on quantitative skills. Historically, the GRE score has enabled directors to discover applicants who possess exceptional potential but have had limited exposure to rigorous mathematics training in the past.
