Eligibility Requirements for the NUS Amgen Scholars Program 2025:
- Enrolled at colleges or universities in Asia that confer a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent); and have completed at least the first year of undergraduate studies by the commencement of the summer program; and
- Will not graduate before to the commencement of the summer program, and will resume undergraduate studies for a minimum of one semester or one quarter following the conclusion of the summer program.

A robust academic performance record and a proficient understanding of English. If you are not a native English speaker, English is not your primary language, or your present university does not instruct in English, you must demonstrate your English ability using one of the following methods:
- a minimum TOEFL (iBT) score of 72
- Overall IELTS band score of 5.5
- Cambridge English FCE, TOEIC score of 1095, TOEIC Listening & Reading score of 785, or TOEIC Speaking & Writing score of 310
- A letter from your university confirming that instruction is conducted entirely in English will be adequate if your current institution employs English as the medium of instruction.
- A desire to undertake a Ph.D.
