The Mexican cultural diplomacy has implemented various successful programs throughout the years, including the provision of scholarships for academic degrees and research work in diverse fields of knowledge, aimed at enhancing human capital training.

The Mexican Directorate-General for Educational and Cultural Cooperation, namely the Academic Exchange Department, is responsible for the creation and administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Scholarship Program for Foreigners.
