Study In Italy: University Of Padua International Excellence Scholarship 2024

The University of Padua is currently accepting applications from eligible and interested candidates for the 2024–2025 International Excellence Scholarship. The grant is available to students from all countries. The scholarship provides funding for Master’s and Bachelor’s level programs in any subject offered at the University of Padua.

Educational Attainment:

The University of Padua offers the International Excellence Scholarship for the year 2024 in Italy. This scholarship is open to students who wish to pursue Masters or Bachelor level programs at the University of Padua. The Padua International Excellence Scholarship has a maximum period of 2 years for Master’s degree applicants and 3 years for Bachelor’s and Single-Cycle degree candidates.

Upon the completion of the aforementioned period, students who are beneficiaries will be responsible for funding their own expenses, including tuition fees, until they graduate.

Advantages of the scholarship:

The scholarship sum consists of a fee waiver and a gross amount of €8,000 every academic year. Beneficiary students simply need to pay an admission fee, which covers the regional tax and marca da bollo, for each year.

Eligible Nationalities:

This scholarship is available to international students from all countries, with the exception of Italian citizens.

Requirements for eligibility:

Applicants must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for the selection procedure for the University of Padua International Excellence Scholarship:

  • Citizenship: You must not have Italian citizenship, unless you have dual citizenship that includes Italian citizenship.
  • Educational Background: Possess a secondary school diploma from a foreign institution (for bachelor’s or single-cycle degree candidates) or a bachelor’s degree from a non-Italian university (for master’s degree applicants) that qualifies for admission to the Italian university system.
  • Residency: You are not currently living in Italy.
  • Program Application: Apply to one or more of the English-taught degree programs offered at the University of Padua. Applicants have the option to apply for a maximum of three degree programs. Applicants that satisfy these requirements will be automatically included in the selection process. There is no requirement for an independent application or submission of extra special documents apart from those needed for the application to the chosen degree program.

  • Applicants for Bachelor’s or Single-cycle degrees must provide a copy of their upper secondary school diploma or an equivalent academic certification. What is the application process?

  • Automatic Consideration: Students who apply for the eligible program and fulfill the scholarship criteria will be automatically evaluated for the University of Padua Excellence Scholarship.

Under certain circumstances, the Academic Committees have the authority to grant scholarships to eligible candidates who apply during the second application period.
