Study In Europe: Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Scholarship 2024

Apply for a joint master’s degree through Erasmus Mundus. Students from all over the world are welcome here. You’ll go to several colleges in Europe and other places. Full scholarships are given to the best students.

Why apply?

A group of higher schools collaborated to develop and offer the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters program.

They have a minimum of three universities from three different countries and a lot of connected partners from both the academic and non-academic worlds.

Most of the time, these include study, research, internships, working on the thesis, and finals.

Highlights of the program:

  • Length: Two years (four semesters)
  • Mode of Instruction: Online and on-campus modules
  • Study Level: Master of Science degree (MSc)
  • Tuition: €9,000 for EU and Turkey, €18,000 for non-EU
  • Scholarships: Full EUR/Mundus Scholarships are offered
  • Location: In collaboration with UNIC, eight cities throughout Europe
  • Application Closing Date: March 1, 2024
  • Language: English 9. Certification: AQAS, adhering to EQF and ESG guidelines

Program Goals and Vision:

The MSc RePIC program prepares professionals with 21st-century skills to meet the problems of urban transition, addressing the critical transformation of post-industrial communities.

Important characteristics:

  • A cooperative initiative by eight respected colleges in Europe
  • Multidisciplinary approach: Sociology, engineering, urban planning, and more
  • Pay attention to superdiverse communities and sustainable urban futures.

Learning Objectives:

  • Thorough knowledge of urban design and transformation
  • Research, digital design, and spatial analysis expertise
  • The capacity to arbitrate disputes between various ethnic and professional groupings
  • Proficiency in geographic technology and data analysis

Program Organization:

Four semesters of required mobility across partner institutions

  • Expertise Tracks: GIS, urban climatology, digital storytelling, research design, sustainable development, etc.
  • Empirical Education: CityLabs, Urban Field- Studies, and Involved Research Methods

Level of degree:

Master ‘s-level programs can be pursued through the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Scholarship Redesigning the Post-Industrial City (MSc RePIC).

  • Town and City Planning

Ruhr-University Bochum, located in Germany

Cork’s University College, Ireland

Deusto University (Spain)

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree holder in a relevant discipline, such as environmental engineering, sociology, urban planning, architecture, etc.
  • Candidates who can provide proof of prior urban planning experience.

What do you require?

You have to:

  • Be enrolled in your last year of undergraduate studies or hold a bachelor’s degree (first degree).
  • Graduate before the start of the master’s program
  • If you can demonstrate a learning level equivalent to a bachelor’s, you may also apply. The nation that awards degrees must formally acknowledge this according to national laws and customs.
