Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
In order for you to be eligible for the scholarship, at least one of the following conditions must be met:
- Applicants who will have obtained a bachelor’s degree by August 2025 and are currently enrolled as students are eligible to apply.
- It has been a minimum of five years since you obtained your initial bachelor’s degree (after January 2019).
- This is your initial undergraduate degree, which you obtained almost five years ago. By the year 2024, your age will not exceed 30 years.
- The aforementioned criteria outline the prerequisites for the McCall MacBain Scholarship program. In addition, it is necessary to fulfill the academic qualifications and linguistic prerequisites set by McGill University.
Requirements for Proficiency in the English Language
- TOEFL: IBT (Internet-Based Test): A minimum score of 86 is required, with a minimum of 20 points in each of the four sections.
- IELTS: A minimum band score of 6.5 or higher is required.
- Verification of Competence Unnecessary if:
- English is the primary language, indicating that it is the language they acquired initially and continue to utilize on a daily basis.
- Is on the verge of obtaining or has already obtained a university degree in the United States or Canada.
- Has resided and attended university or been employed continuously for a minimum of four years in a country where English is the designated language of communication.
- Possesses a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited international institution where English is the primary language of instruction, or is in the process of obtaining one.
