Requirements for Southern Cross University Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for Southern Cross University Scholarships, candidates must meet all of the following criteria:

Language Requirement: English

  • Eligible Countries: All countries worldwide. Individuals who hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency are ineligible to apply.
  • Apply to enroll in a full-time (8 units per year) undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at either the Lismore, Gold Coast, or Coffs Harbour campus.

Applicants are required to fulfill the University’s minimum admission criteria.

  • For undergraduate admission, applicants must have a certificate that is similar to Australian Year 12 and meet the requisite entry grade for their chosen program.   • Postgraduate entry requirements include having a qualification that is equal to an Australian Bachelor’s degree, as well as demonstrating English language proficiency at a level corresponding to Academic IELTS 6.5.
  • In order to remain eligible for the scholarship, students must successfully finish all units in their progression and maintain at least a passing grade in each unit.
