Eligibility Criteria:

1. Undergraduate Scholarship

Requirements:

  • STEM Degree: Applicants must have the intention to pursue an undergraduate degree in a field related to Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) at an Australian institution.
  • STEM Focus: The degree must be conferred by a School or Faculty that specializes in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • Non-eligible Degrees: Degrees obtained in faculties other than STEM, particular professions such as medicine and nursing, and certain health-related subjects do not meet the eligibility criteria.

2. Scholarship for Postgraduate Research

Requirements:

  • Research Degrees: Applicants must be enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Philosophy, or Master by Research program.
  • Applied Research: The research project must be undertaken within a research team at an Australian university and focus on a practical topic.
  • Industry Focus: Emphasis is placed on research projects that involve collaboration or connections with the industry.
  • The priority areas include advanced manufacturing, agriculture, digital futures, energy resources, health technology, minerals, water resources, and topics that are in line with the National Reconstruction Fund.

3. Scholarship for Leadership

Requirements:

  • Post-Graduation: Applicants must have completed their degree at least 5 years ago in a STEM or any related subject.
  • Postgraduate Coursework: Applicants must have the intention to pursue postgraduate coursework studies that are specifically focused on startups, mature firms, or high-growth areas that aim to solve the gaps in STEM skills.
  • STEM Qualification: While not mandatory, possessing a STEM qualification can be advantageous.
  • Our industry focus is mostly on areas that are in line with the National Reconstruction Fund, as well as the fields of natural sciences and engineering.
