POSITION: Terminal Manager
Main Purpose:
Run Ridge Terminal safely and efficiently under the direction of the Country Operations Manager. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities, Most important jobs:
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the Ridge Terminal by carrying out strategies for how to run it well. Make ensuring that operational costs are kept within the approved CapEx and OpEx budgets and that the value of all spending is maximized.
- Make sure that the loss performance at standard temperature (15–20 o C) is within the control limit for Jet A-1 at -0.10% for operational loss and -0.30% for transit loss.
- Make sure that stock differences over limitations are looked into quickly and that the right steps are taken.
- Make sure the assets at the Depot work well so that product loading and receiving don’t stop. Take care of the goods, equipment, cash, and other assets in the Accra Aviation at the Ridge Terminal.
- Make sure that Storage Tanks are regularly checked for quality to make sure that customers always have what they need.
- Make sure that inspections and audits of the depot are done according to the standards set by Puma Aviation and JIG.
- Make sure that the people who work at the depot know a lot about Puma Aviation Task Procedures and the JIG manual.
- Plan for the annual leave, training, and development needs of the Terminal employees.
- Ensure compliance and adherence to corporate policies, operating procedures, health & Safety standards and regulatory obligations.
- Manage important relationships with the business world and other parties.
Quality Management System Compliance
- Comply and support the Quality Management system in all elements of your role.
- Adopt the ideas of continuous improvement and use them in all parts of your job.
- Make sure that everyone in the firm is aware of both internal and external client needs.
- Review, track, and give comments on how well the quality management system is working.
- Engage in, support, and keep improving communication procedures that help the quality management system and lead to good results for the business, customers, and other key stakeholders.

- Know how to get out of the building in an emergency and where the first aid and fire equipment is.
- Make sure your actions don’t hurt the environment or aren’t likely to hurt it.
- Reduce waste as much as possible. Separate things that can be used again and things that can be recycled.
- Clean up any spills and let your Supervisor know.
