Job Title: Head of Marketing
A top insurance brokerage in Ghana is seeking high-performing, results-driven people to fill the position of Head of Marketing, who will be responsible for identifying possibilities for business expansion and formulating plans to achieve organizational goals.
Important duties include, but are not restricted to:
- Being able to advise clients regarding insurance products, plans, and laws in Ghana and possessing an in-depth technical understanding of them.
- Creating and putting into practice sales and marketing plans for insurance products.
- Leading marketing teams in two different locations, creating objectives based on reported corporate income and planned spending plans, and leading teams to success.
- Monitoring data under KPIs and making required adjustments to strategy
- Establishing personal and team sales pipelines and managing the day-to-day operations of teams.
- Researching to find new business prospects, such as strategies to expand into existing markets or new markets, growth sectors, customers, partnerships, goods, and services.
- Analyzing and interpreting data and analytics related to revenue targets and business lines to evaluate performance.
- Coordinating and overseeing teams’ compliance obligations
- Creating quarterly marketing reports for the Board and keeping track of unfinished business
- Handling the marketing data that has been gathered and producing reports that can assist executives in identifying business advancement, regression, and any variations in output.
- Constantly assessing insurance contracts to ensure that the needs of policyholders are effectively met.
Skills & Credentials Required
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or a related discipline is required.
- Insurance is a prerequisite, according to Chartered Insurance’s professional qualification.
- Five (5) years minimum of demonstrable experience working in sales or marketing for an insurance brokerage, business, or financial institution
- Applicants must possess fundamental computer abilities and practical knowledge of Microsoft Office suites like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Using analytical tools is advantageous.
- Candidates must possess excellent organization, project management, analytical, and verbal/written communication abilities.
