New Job Opportunity at Subsea 7

Subsea 7 is looking for a motivated and experienced HR Business Partner. Reporting to HR Manager, you will be supporting the daily HR related topics for Multiple Countries (Ghana, Nigeria, Azerbaijan and Egypt) implementing the HR processes for the countries, drive the local recruitment plan and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.

This role requires frequent travels (25% of the time).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as first point of contact to local management teams and provide local HR advisory and consultancy
  • Follow-up on Resources (Manpower) Plans, and ensure on-time delivery for the required recruitments
  • Support HR Manager in the implementation and structure of Local HR policies, and ensure its compliance with local laws and legislations
  • Ensure communication of accurate and compliant HR data (manual and electronic)
  • Prepare business cases pertaining to employee changes (Promotions, Transfers, etc.)
  • Follow-up and manage expatriation processes for the countries
  • Manage and review payroll
  • Live the Subsea 7 values and provide required induction for all new hires
  • Support in the creation of local Training Needs Analysis (TNA), and Career Development plans for employees
  • Act as Brand Ambassador for Employer Branding

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management/Industrial Psychology/Social Sciences/ Business Administration. A masters and being part of a professional body are added advantages.
  • 8+ years of hands-on HR experience (Generalist scope), ideally in the energy industry
  • Excellent working knowledge of local labour laws and regulations
  • Excellent Communication and People skills
  • Proactive and curious. Willingness to understand the decision drivers, Challenge the business, and process data inputs.
  • Fluent in English, French/Portuguese will be an advantage
