ROLE: Business Development Executive
OracleMed Health, a market leader in African medical insurance, is looking for an experienced Business Development Executive. The selected candidate must have a track record of proven sales and new business development.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Previous group-level sales experience in financial services products.
- Establishing and managing new and existing commercial partnerships with multinational clients and insurance brokers.
- Able to travel
- Sales experience at the senior executive level across industries (e.g., CEO, CFO, Head of HR, etc.) is required.
- A proven track record of developing and managing a robust and consistent sales pipeline.
- A university degree (or a tertiary education equivalent).
- RE1 or RE5 FSB certification (preferred).
- Complete computer literacy, including good Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
Executive Business Development Skills:
- Experienced sales professional with strong problem-solving, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Must be self-motivated and self-driven.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong communication and IT fluency
- Creativity and problem-solving abilities
- Thorough understanding of the industry and current events
- The capacity to work under pressure and fulfill deadlines
- The ability to prioritize and prioritize duties
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organization
Responsibilities for Business Development:
- Create and manage a sales pipeline.
- A high sales conversion rate.
- Follow-up and completion of the whole sales process, from lead generation to proposal formulation to purchase order fulfillment.
- Finding fresh sales leads
- Selling goods and/or services
- Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing and new consumers
Package:
- Base salary plus commission
- Expense account
- Cell phone account fees
- Travel expenses
