Metro TV is looking for Presenters to start right away.
Responsibilities:
- Searching state publications and existing public discourse for newsworthy information.
- Interviewing significant and frequently overlooked persons in order to gather exact, well-rounded accounts.
- Making a list of key talking points before your shows.
- Preside over periodic roundtable conversations to properly unpack relevant stories.
- When appropriate, demonstrating active listening.
- Obtaining observations from viewers in order to facilitate their participation.
- Protecting the identities of your anonymous sources.
- Working with in-house Stylists to choose office-appropriate, well-fitting clothing.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in communication studies, journalism, dramatic arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Presenting experience is required.
- Knowledgeable of relevant audio devices.
- Perfect oral articulation.
- Excellent investigative, logistical, and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to moderate well-structured and courteous discussions.
- Willingness to meet short research deadlines.
- Neatly-presented.
