Job Description.
We’re searching for an experienced backend developer to join our team and contribute to the improvement and maintenance of our platforms.
We are searching for a candidate who is proficient in server-side languages such as Go, Java, Python, and the Node.js runtime environment. The idle applicant would work with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, to design and build scalable software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work with our team to consistently create, test, and maintain our platforms.
- Optimize the performance of our platforms.
- Implement server-side logic and database integration to ensure that web applications run properly.
- Create and manage APIs to provide smooth connectivity between front-end and back-end services.
- Ensure that backend services are well-performing, secure, and available.
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise.
- Identifying and developing changes to existing programs.
- Participate in code reviews and help define best practices.
- Compiling and analysing user feedback to improve the platform.
Required Skill or Experience
- A minimum of three years of experience working with server-side languages such as Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Proven experience as a backend developer or in a similar position.
- A strong grasp of cloud-based storage systems, preferably with expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience using version control technologies like Git.
- Experience with CI/CD for deployments.
- Understanding of RESTful API architecture and implementation.
- Knowledge of the microservices’ architecture.
- A solid understanding of software development ideas and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Self-motivated and able to operate in a fast-paced setting.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related subject, or comparable work experience.
