ROLE: Technical Operator

Key Responsibilities
Maintaining standards through practices
- Diageo’s health and safety, environmental, and food safety requirements are followed.
- capable of comprehending the functioning and operation of equipment or plants
- Maintains a safe and well-organized workplace by adhering to the Safety and 5S MMS practices.
- Work is being done to decrease and eliminate trash.
- Works to meet and exceed team goals.
- Object to ineffective working techniques and inappropriate activities.
- Leave the workplace prepared for the following shift.
- Operate machine or plant processes in accordance with prescribed standard operating procedures to save machine downtime and setup time.
- Perform autonomous maintenance chores such as cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating, as well as responding to difficulties. Understands and carries out asset care processes
- Responsible for quality control in accordance with the procedure and quality at source testing
- Responsible for changeovers, including CIPS optimisation, as well as providing changeover support across machines and lines.
- Drives equipment performance on a line or in a process area – RCA, SIC, Op led Asset Care, DT recording (tagging), cleanliness standards
- Manage personal data in Workday, such as P4G and personal information.
Entry-level Requirements: abilities and experience
Qualifications:
- 1st degree in science or engineering / HND in science or engineering
- 1 year of shift work experience in a production team in an FMCG environment.
Experience:
- Logical/numerical reasoning
- Computer literate, with working knowledge of SAP and Informance
- 1 year of shift work experience in a production team in an FMCG environment
- Basic understanding of machine functions and operation, including planned maintenance and lubrication
- Process control and operational excellence techniques should be known.
- Understanding of risk standards (Quality H&S Environment)
