Transnational Academic Group, in collaboration with Lancaster University, UK, offers British undergraduate, postgraduate, and foundation programmes at its Ghana site. As we embark on the next exciting phase of our mission to develop future African leaders, we are looking for a Sales Representative to join our Recruitment & Admissions team. In this capacity, you will be responsible for promoting and selling educational programs, as well as coordinating student admissions to the university’s programs. This is a unique chance for you to use your sales experience and fluency in French to interact with a varied group of potential students.
The Role
- Conduct outreach to potential students in the market, particularly in francophone Africa.
- Present and explain the benefits of our educational programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective students and important stakeholders.
- Provide excellent customer service as you guide students through the enrollment process.
- Validation and verification of applications and academic documents submitted by candidates.
- Ensure that any international certificates and necessary qualifications have been reviewed by the proper regulatory agencies.
- Ensure that all names and dates of birth on applicants’ results, passports, or IDs correspond to the offers provided.
- Issuing signed proposals within 24 to 48 hours of receiving the full application.
- Creating and maintaining an Application Status Sheet.
Required Skill or Experience
- Being fluent in both spoken and written French is advantageous.
- Proven sales expertise, with a track record of reaching or surpassing expectations.
- Interest and excitement for working in the education field.
- Working understanding of the higher education system, including recruitment cycles.
- Excellent understanding of the university’s program portfolio and entry/admission standards.
- In-depth understanding of student recruitment processes and procedures.
- Cultural differences should be understood and managed in the context of student recruitment and marketing.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in similar or equivalent roles.
- A first degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or a comparable field.
- Proven ability to build and nurture connections with partner organisations.
