Mutti Doctor at mPharma
At mPharma, we start and end each day by thinking about how we can help patients pay for their medicines. We are a small but growing team of more than 350 people. Our headquarters are in Accra, Ghana, and we are backed by investors who care about our mission.
We’ve worked with third-party payers, drug manufacturers, and healthcare providers to make products and services that lower the costs of prescription drugs for patients. In just a few years, we’ve been able to help hundreds of thousands of people in nine African countries get high-quality medicines at low prices.
Position Description
mPharma is looking for people who are responsible, trustworthy, and have very high standards of work to join our team as virtual doctors. Through mPharma’s virtual consultation service, this job involves talking to patients. There are no part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Give Mutti members quick virtual medical advice through mPharma’s virtual channels
- Tell clients about all test results and give them advice as needed.
- Carefully keep electronic records of all prescriptions, diagnoses, and highlights of consultations for Program members.
- Be in charge of gathering and analyzing epidemiological data.
- Make sure that the highest standards of care and customer service are strictly followed. • Make sure that SOPs for mPharma Health Services are strictly followed.
The Perfect Candidate
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a strong belief in mPharma’s goal to make high-quality health care more accessible and affordable.
- Skilled with technology and quick to learn how to use telemedicine tools
- Knows what’s going on in clinical practice right now.
- A strong work ethic and a proactive “can do” attitude that doesn’t need much help from others.
- Fluent in English, with good writing, speaking, analyzing, and organizing skills;
- Fluent in local languages;
- Tech-savvy and able to learn how to use telemedicine solutions quickly;
Qualifications and Experience
- A MBBS or MBCHB degree from a medical school that has been approved.
- A valid license to work.
- Have worked for at least two years.
Location: Accra.
