ROLE: Customer Service Agent
The Customer Service Agent is an experienced professional who is responsible for offering excellent customer service and expert assistance with booking adjustments and airline schedule changes. This function is critical in guaranteeing client satisfaction and resolving difficult travel reservation concerns.
- Customer Service: Deliver great and expert-level customer service, responding to inquiries, problems, and issues with professionalism and competence.
- Booking revisions: Handle booking revisions, alterations, and changes with correctness and adherence to airline policies and procedures.
- Airline Scheduled Changes: Expertly manage and navigate airline schedule changes, informing consumers in advance and providing acceptable alternatives as necessary.
- Resolve complex client concerns pertaining to bookings, modifications, and scheduled changes, guaranteeing quick and effective problem resolution.
- Tier 2 Support: Assist Tier 1 agents with escalated client concerns and provide assistance and solutions as a Tier 2 support resource.
- Maintaining high service quality standards, following corporate policies, and ensuring that all interactions meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Product Knowledge: Stay current on the newest travel products, services, and industry trends to deliver accurate and relevant information to clients.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of all client interactions, activities done, and resolutions in the company’s customer support systems.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with other departments to provide seamless client experiences, such as reservations, ticketing, and operations.
- It is preferable to have a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- 2-3 years of customer service assistance expertise in the travel business, focusing on booking adjustments and airline schedule changes.
- Proven experience as a ticketing and reservation agent with knowledge of GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo
- Strong knowledge of airline reservation systems and processes.
- Outstanding problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Ability to operate under pressure and deal calmly with difficult customer situations.
- a proven track record of providing outstanding customer service.
- Detail-oriented and well-structured.
- Understanding of domestic and international travel norms and procedures.
