Job Vacancy For Information Technology, Systems Security Officer

Job Duties
Information systems security officers have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Firstly, Ensuring that security policies and procedures are being followed by staff members
- Secondly, Monitoring the status of security systems such as fire alarms and surveillance cameras to ensure they are functioning properly
- Thirdly, Monitoring employee activity on computer networks to ensure compliance with organization policies regarding use of electronic communications
- Moreover, Monitoring employee activity in physical locations such as banks or stores to ensure compliance with company policies
- Additionally, Conducting audits of computer systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or system defects
- Furthermore, Investigating security breaches or violations of security protocols to determine their cause and who is responsible
- More so, Coordinating with outside entities such as law enforcement agencies or other companies regarding security issues
- Afterwards, Maintaining awareness of new threats to computer security, such as new viruses or hacker techniques, and updating security protocols as needed
- Finally, Providing security training to new employees about company policies and procedures for protecting sensitive data
Requirements
Skills should include;
- Visual Basic (VB)
- C-Sharp
- Visual Studio Dot Net d. Java and Java-script
- Microsoft SQL Databases
- Oracle Database
- Scripting
- HTML, CSS
- XML
- Lastly, Systems Security and Auditing
Remuneration
The remuneration ranges per month are:
- Level 1 GH¢ 7,500.00 and above
- Level 2 GH¢ 6,500.00 and above
- Level 3 d. Level 4 GH¢ 5,500.00 and above GH¢ 4,500.00 and above
- Level 5 GH¢ 3,000.00 and above
- Level 6 GH¢ 2,000.00 and above
